Last year when Micaiah Ministries came Bro. Kent expounded on the subject “A Crowd or a Movement“. A crowd can be good, but if that crowd doesn’t advance in the things of God they are nothing more than seat fillers. Kent talked about the charismatic revival of the late 60’s and early 70’s when “Jesus People” got a heart for those around them. They desired that people be changed from the inside out…not simply be part of a crowd. This was a time of war in Vietnam, war protest, and racial upheaval, sounds a little like today. With a desire toward discipleship, evangelism and Bible study revival fires broke out simultaneously in many parts of the nation. The gospel changes people. Today is a time like that…a time when we need passion for the things of God. We can look at our world now and see similarities to the birth of the “Jesus People” movement.
